Why Have a Melting Pot When You Can Have a Mosaic?

Don’t Melt the Mosaic!

When you think of what makes you you, what comes to mind? How do you describe yourself? You may think about profession, race, gender, religion, heritage, height, hobbies, or any number of factors.

Why Mindful Adaptation?

I recently had a conversation that felt like a warm embrace that whispered, “Keep going. You’ve got this.” Speaking with a seasoned professional in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space, the woman I spoke with — a global executive and Black woman — voiced her frustration with the performative diversity and inclusion she is experiencing all around her.

Questions that mindful adaptation can address:

  • How do we develop greater capacity to navigate change?

  • What does it mean to have a culture of innovation and how do we create it?

  • How do we attract, retain, and grow diverse talent?
